Small animations for everyday messages
A good GIF communicates without a play button or an audio track. Keep the subject easy to recognize and the important movement inside the frame. Review the animation at its intended display size, not only in a large preview.
For Slack or Discord reactions, a clear expression usually matters more than a busy background. For a product listing, show one movement or viewpoint without obscuring the item. For email, use a short, compact loop and make the first frame informative because some mail clients show only a still frame.
Balance motion and file size
More frames are not automatically better. A small repeated gesture can be legible with a handful of poses; a detailed recording may need a higher frame rate. Compare the preview, file size and your destination’s upload rules. The tool’s maximum file size does not guarantee that a messaging service or email platform will accept every output.
Choose local conversion when exact source frames are important. Choose AI when you want to create new motion and can review an interpreted result. Both paths provide a downloadable GIF, and neither makes the animation public by default.
